Swimlane diagrams
Show who owns the work — as a document.
When a handoff moves, a generated swimlane has to be redrawn. DeckSpec keeps lanes, steps, and outcomes as objects you can revise.
Capability, problem, why not an image
- Capability. A presentation swimlane: a small number of lanes, visible handoffs, and one outcome.
- Slide problem. A role change in a picture of the process means regenerating every lane.
- Why not an image. Lanes and labels stay selectable. This is a slide, not a procedure that assigns or executes tasks.
